CMI Partnerships

The Center for the Moving Image is actively engaged in partnerships with institutions, organizations, and individuals who share our commitment to excellence in the arts and want to explore the creative possibilities in cross disciplinary projects.

Each year the CMI supports a graduate student whose interests bridge artistic disciplines, most often film and one of the performing arts. Students interested in applying should provide a statement outlining past academic and personal experience and how they envision the CMI facilitating their goals. An interview with the Artistic Director should be requested.

We are also very interested in partnering with private and public cultural institutions and organizations. In the past, we have partnered with composers, theater directors, actors, choreographers, dancers, as well as other filmmakers from organizations in the United States and abroad.
